Function:

Read / Write MCM2 (IntFLASH of TC1796; IntEEPROM; ExtEEPROM) in DC mode (on bench by cable) 

No need to open ECU. Auto-checksum. 

Supports MCM2 versions:   

Type 1. Continental MCM2 (MCU TC1796-256F / TriCore  1 EEPROM M95640).   Type 2. Continental MCM2 (MCU TC1796-256F / TriCore  1 EEPROM M95128)


The difference between OBD, BSL and DC modes:

OBD mode: is a software mode by diagnostic port OBDII.
Advantage: Fast - 5 minutes.; No need to disconnect or open ECU.
Disadvantage: Could not read damaged ECU.

BSL mode: is a Boot Strap Loader mode. (Safe mode for ECU).
Advantage: Could read/write damaged ECU. ECu recovery. No need to open ECU
Disadvantage: Really slow. 30 min to read/write.
Checksum not available in BSL mode

DC mode: is a software mode.
Advantage: Fast - 5 minutes.; No need to open ECU.
Disadvantage: Could not read damaged ECU.
